Teresa Diane Guthrie, 60, of Catawba, NC, passed away, January 12, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Billy Charles Beck and Helen Lewis Fish and Husband Owen. Teresa worked as a nurse for many years for Dr. Joel B Rosenburg and Asheville Internal Medicine. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and caregiver to everyone.
She is survived by her husband, Ernie Gutherie; daughters, Stephanie and Crystal Thomas; sister, Fredia Higgins, Lisa Oak, Pam Paris and Tammy Robinson; brother, Charles “Billy” Beck; grandchildren, Ashley and Trevor Thomas, Amira and Zeke Johnson, a great grandchild Kayden Thomas and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 12:00pm Monday, January 15, 2018 at Newfound Baptist Church, Leicester, NC with Pastor Jeff Maynard and Josh Meadows officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
